The Sheboygan County Fair is less than one month away, and important deadlines for youth showmanship are quickly approaching.
Fair organizers are reminding parents and guardians that registration forms for this year’s Farmerbud Showmanship Contest must be signed and postmarked by no later than Monday (August 10th).
Farmerbud Showmanship is open to children ages 4 to 8 as of January 1st, 2026, and is intended to give kids their start in showing cows at the fair.
Meanwhile, registration forms for the Lil- Hams Showmanship will have to be signed and postmarked by August 17th.
Like Farmerbud, Lil’ Hams Showmanship looks to get local children their start in showing swine at the fair and is open to those ages 5 to 9 as of January 1st.

The Sheboygan County Fair will be held in Plymouth from September 3rd through September 7th.
