A local theatre group in Sheboygan is preparing for one of its next shows.
Theater for Young Audiences (TYA) is holding open auditions for School House Rock LIVE! Jr. on August 24th and August 27th at the organization’s new home, located at 3865 Enterprise Drive.
Children between 4th grade and incoming high school seniors are eligible to audition for TYA’s take on the iconic educational short films covering topics of history, science, math, and much more.
The production will be directed and choreographed by Amara Kennedy, while Paul Sucherman will handle music directing duties.
Those who audition are asked to bring with them a water bottle, comfortable clothing, and a list of future scheduling conflicts falling between August 28th and October 25th.
On the auditions, TYA noted, “Whether you’re just a bill sitting on Capitol Hill or ready to unpack your adjectives, this is your chance to join the fun.”
