Multiple fire departments and the American Red Cross were called to assist after a home caught fire in Chilton.
The Chilton Fire Department was called to the 400 block of Randolph Street just before 5:00 Wednesday evening, where they found smoke coming from the rear of a residence.
The MABAS system was activated, bringing other local fire departments to the scene.
Together, they were able to knock down the blaze with no injuries reported.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
The property owner is being assisted by the American Red Cross and Kelmann Restoration.
The Chilton Fire Department thanked the Calumet County Sheriff’s Office, Chilton Police Department, Gold Cross Ambulance, Hilbert Volunteer Fire Department, New Holstein Fire Department, Potter Fire Department, and Stockbridge Fire Department for assisting with the call.
