The Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office is reminding residents about a major road construction project that’s still happening.
County Road XX and Louis Corners Road near the City of Kiel are closed with no access allowed through any work zone.
The sheriff’s office says the project includes removing and replacing existing asphalt pavement, roadway grinding, and installation of new curb and gutter along with storm sewer improvements.
Westbound drivers will be detoured north on Highway 67 back to County Highway X.
They should then travel south to County Highway M, which will take them back to XX.
Eastbound traffic will go in the opposite direction.
