A Pierce County couple is facing charges in the death of their three-week-old child.
The child was found unresponsive on March 14th and was later pronounced dead.
23-year-old Jessie Lee Kittelson told police she used methamphetamine throughout her pregnancy, that she breastfed the child, and had used the drug as recently as three days before his death.
The child’s father, 26-year-old Taylor Jae Olson, has admitted to acquiring the drugs for Kittelson.
The baby died of methamphetamine toxicity, and the parents are charged with reckless homicide.
