The Sheboygan County Chamber of Commerce has elevated one of its own employees to a leadership role.
The Chamber has announced that Alexis Schroeder has been promoted from Program Coordinator to Program Manager, a move that the Chamber says recognizes Schroeder’s leadership, organizational skills, and commitment to advancing workforce development initiatives.
In her expanded role, Schroeder will also helm the Chamber’s Make Your Mark program, an initiative aiming to attract and retain workers to Sheboygan County.
On the promotion, Deidre Martinez, the Chamber’s CEO, stated, “Alexis has demonstrated an incredible ability to build meaningful relationships, organize impactful programming, and support both employers and emerging talent…Expanding her role to include management of Make Your Mark is the perfect fit.”
Aside from leading the Make Your Mark initiative, Schroeder will also continue leading various other Chamber programs, such as Leadership and Junior Leadership Sheboygan County, Coastal Young Professionals, and more.
