There are a pair of meetings today (August 3rd) in the City of Sheboygan.
Up first will be the Board of Waterworks Commissioners, which will convene in the Water Utility Admin Office at 3:00 p.m.
They will start by holding a moment of silence for Gerald Van De Kreeke, who joined the Board on April 24th, 1980, and died one day after his final meeting on July 8th of this year.
During his over 46 years of service, he also served as the president of the board.
They will then elect their new slate of officers.
Then, at 6:00 p.m., the City Council will convene in the Council Chambers, where they will view the 2026 facilities assessment and year-to-date budget report.
Then, the Council will vote on a resolution that would support “transparency for taxpayers regarding State-mandated private school voucher funding.”
