A former Vernon County Jail food worker is learning her fate after she was convicted on charges that she threatened an inmate.
Prosecutors say Amanda Bjornstad threatened an inmate working kitchen duty that if they did not engage in sexual activity with her, she would not allow them to continue on kitchen detail.
The inmate relented, and Bjornstad later claimed the contact had been consensual.
Bjornstad pleaded no contest this week to a felony threats charge and has been sentenced to three years of probation.
