A Two Rivers man has been arrested after an alleged violent assault.
66-year-old Douglas Savor was given a $1,500 signature bond yesterday (July 29th) by Court Commissioner Jewel Scharenbroch.
Savor has been charged with one count each of Battery and Strangulation or Suffocation following a recent incident that took place in Two Rivers.
During his bail hearing, it was revealed that Savor is accused of grabbing the unidentified victim by the neck before throwing them to the ground.
It is further alleged that, once the victim got back to their feet, Savor grabbed the victim by the neck again, causing visible injuries.
Additional terms of his bond include a strict no-contact order with the victim.
Savor will return to Manitowoc County court to make his initial appearance on August 17th at 1:30 p.m. in Branch 3.
