A man previously convicted of a child sex crime is being relocated in Appleton.
The Appleton Police Department has reported that 44-year-old Michael J. Cross was living outside of the city, but has been approved by the Department of Corrections to relocate to the 500 block of East First Avenue.
Cross was convicted on one count of Child Enticement – Sexual Contact with a Child after it was learned he had used a post on Craigslist to meet up with a 15-year-old boy.
He has served his sentence as imposed by the courts and is not wanted by police at this time.
Any use of this information to threaten, intimidate, or harass Cross will not be tolerated.
