There is just one governmental meeting today (July 29th) in the City of Sheboygan.
The Redevelopment Authority (RDA) will be meeting at 7:45 a.m. inside the first-floor conference room at City Hall.
The group has just one item on its agenda, which will be a special event request from Anglers Pub and Grill.
Anglers is requesting to use RDA land adjacent to 518 South Pier Drive as a gathering place for this weekend’s Coho Derby, which runs from July 31st through August 2nd.
Originally, this land was approved for use by Anglers from August 1st through the 10th for the Midwest Challenge Powerboat Races, which have since been cancelled.
Now, with the announcement that the Coho Derby is back on, Anglers Pub and Grill has pivoted and looks to use the land as a public gathering area, event hub, and activation site to support the annual Coho Derby weekend.
