A Wisconsin woman has been accused of repeatedly poisoning her ex-husband by putting eye drops into his drinks.
The complaint alleges Jessica Meis caused her ex-husband to suffer serious health problems in 2025 that led to multiple hospital visits.
The victim told investigators the cardiologist said his symptoms “did not make any sense,” and that his concerns about him possibly being poisoned were dismissed.
He installed a camera in his kitchen and, as a result, captured footage of Meis adding liquid from a small container that appeared to be consistent with an eye drop bottle.
Meis was arrested on July 21st and is facing multiple charges, including aggravated battery.
