Milwaukee police are investigating the suspicious death of a 7-month-old infant discovered unresponsive late Monday morning near 25th Street and Hadley.
Officers say they arrived around 11:20 a.m. and took a 22-year-old woman into custody in connection with the case.
Police have not identified the infant or the relationship between the woman and child at this time.
No charges have been filed yet.
