A popular downtown Manitowoc café is moving locations.
Harmony Café, a subsidiary of Grow it Forward, has announced that it will be moving its operations back to the Grow It Forward Community Food Center at 1501 Marshall Street.
CEO Amber Daugs noted that the organization decided to move the café back to their main headquarters “so we can integrate them more closely with our pantry, community meals, gardens, hydroponic farm, catering, and educational programs.”
Harmony Café’s final day at 921 South 8th Street will be August 15th, but residents can still get coffee at that location after Harmony Café moves out.
The building will be taken over by Kristy and Kevin DeLeon, who will operate their own independent coffee shop known as Sobremesa Coffee.
Grow It Forward anticipates the café will reopen at the Community Food Center in September, operating on a limited schedule within the Community Food Center’s hours (Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.), with specific café hours to be announced.
