A man was arrested late last week on his 12th OWI.
The Kaukauna Police Department was called to the area of Crooks Avenue and East 5th Street at 7:30 a.m. on a report of a hit-and-run.
The victim then told police that they had followed the suspect to a residence on Wilson Street, so the officers diverted to that location.
There, they spoke with 66-year-old Daniel Campbell of Kaukauna, who was arrested on a 12th Offence OWI.
No injuries were reported in the crash. The Kaukauna Police Department is reminding everyone to “drink responsibly and have a plan for transportation. This is not just for our own safety, but for the safety of everyone else around us on the roadway.”
