While it looks like there is no major severe weather damage in Manitowoc County, the Fox Cities got hit hard.
Multiple reports say that a tornado looks to have touched down in the Neenah-Menasha area while a second looks to have hit Appleton.
Neenah-Menasha Fire Rescue and the City of Menasha stated earlier this afternoon that their public safety department is responding to impacted areas affected by the severe weather.
Anyone who’s dealt with storm damage is asked to stay away from affected areas, avoid downed power lines, and not drive around barricades.
The City of Appleton also says they too are responding to storm-related calls.
Manitowoc County Emergency Management Director Rhonda Green tells Seehafernews.com that Manitowoc County is basically unscathed.
The only reports she got were about some downed trees in Two Rivers.
The National Weather Service issued several severe thunderstorm warnings and tornado warnings starting around 11:00 a.m. this morning.
As we get into this afternoon, the National Weather Service has not issued any warnings and the severe looks to have moved out of Wisconsin.
