Wisconsin residents can soon begin submitting proposals to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.
It will be a part of the Wisconsin Conservation Congress’s (WCC) 2027 Spring Hearings.
The open online process begins next Saturday (August 1st).
Resolutions must concern a statewide impact, be practical and achievable, and must be within the mission of the Conservation Congress.
As a reminder, the WCC says an individual can submit no more than two resolutions a year.
Residents interested are encouraged to reach out to the group’s resolution review committee or their WCC County Chair for guidance.
Resolutions will be accepted until Monday, February 8th at midnight.
They will be reviewed by a committee of the WCC starting in April.
