A random drawing will be held by Barkhausen for deer gun permits.
Brown County Parks in Green Bay reports that Barkhausen Waterfowl Preserve and Fort Howard Paper Foundation Wildlife Area are opening applications soon for the 9-day gun-deer season in 2026.
Permits are required, but only a limited number of permits are available.
These will be given out based on a random drawing.
Applicants can register alone or in a group as big as three people but can’t register for both.
