A local demonstration group is hosting a vigil “demanding justice” for two people shot and killed by ICE Agents.
Progressive Lakeshore People will host the event tomorrow (July 25th) from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Shipbuilders Park, on the corner of 8th Street and Maritime Drive.
The group says tomorrow is a national call for action and vigil for two “Latino fathers and working men who ICE killed. We are all mourning across the nation and need to come together to share our grief and outrage and demand ICE be abolished.”
The group also encourages protesters to bring signs, water, and chairs or blankets if needed.
