Three Two Rivers residents have been honored for life-saving actions.
Two Rivers Police Chief Ben Meinert praised the work of Ross and Toni Blaha and Cody Dewitt for going above and beyond in two separate instances over the past year, giving each of them a TRPD Chief’s Award.
Ross and Toni helped save the life of a motorcycle rider who had gotten into a crash.
Chief Meinert also specifically noted that their actions helped keep others safe at the scene as well.
Dewitt, meanwhile, received recognition for his help and preservation of evidence in an animal mistreatment and abandonment case.
His actions directly led to an arrest and conviction.
