A woman from Manitowoc already charged for narcotics possession has been arrested on new fentanyl charges.
44-year-old Maggie Litel was given a $5,000 cash bail yesterday (July 22nd) by Manitowoc County Court Commissioner Jewel Scharenbroch. Litel has been charged with Possession with the Intent to Deliver Fentanyl and Felony Bail Jumping.
These charges come after the 44-year-old was stopped by Manitowoc Police, who found 9.3 grams of fentanyl in her vehicle, an amount the State categorized as “well beyond normal user amounts,” during her bail hearing.
Litel’s Felony Bail Jumping charge stems from a separate case in Manitowoc County where she faces one felony count of Possession of Narcotic Drugs linked to an incident that occurred on April 1st of this year.
Additional terms of her bail in this most recent case include maintaining absolute sobriety, and she is not to possess any controlled substances without a valid prescription.
She will be back in court for her initial appearance on Monday (July 27th) in Branch 2.
