
A recently released sex offender is now residing in Appleton.
Mark J. Kemps was released from prison yesterday after his conviction on numerous child sex charges.
These include Child Enticement, Repeated Sexual Assault of the Same Child, thirteen Counts of Child Sexual Exploitation, and five counts of Possession of Child Pornography.
Kemps was found to have possessed, produced, and distributed child sexual abuse material and sexually assaulted a 13-year-old girl numerous times.
He will be residing in a temporary living placement in the 500 block of North Superior Street and is not wanted by police at this time.
The Appleton Police Department warns that any use of this information to threaten, intimidate, or harass Kemps will not be tolerated.
