Two local baseball teams are looking to get back in the win column tonight.
The newly revived Two Rivers Polar Bears team is coming off a 12-6 loss to the Algoma Guins on Monday, which was Algoma’s first win of the season.
The Bears have only celebrated one victory this season, which came in the second game of the season over the newly created Manitowoc White Caps.
Tonight’s game will be held at Village Park in Casco, as the Bears take on the 7-1 Athletics, who are 1.5 games behind the Kewaunee Chiefs for the top spot in the Shoreland League.
Meanwhile, the White Caps are set to host the aforementioned Chiefs at Bruce Steinbecker Field.
The Caps have had some success this season, sitting at 3-6 in league play, but they are on a 2-game skid.
The Caps only have three games left on the schedule, while the Polar Bears have four.
Both of tonight’s games will begin at 7:30 p.m.
