There is just one meeting scheduled for today (July 21st) in the City of Sheboygan.
The City’s Board of Police and Fire Commissioners will meet inside the third-floor conference room at City Hall at 4:00 p.m.
The group will open by giving the public time to comment before scheduling job interviews for the position of police officer.
Then, they will enter a closed session for a discussion “regarding specific personnel problems which, if discussed in public, would be likely to have a substantial adverse effect upon the reputation of any person involved in such problems.”
City documents continue to explain the Board will “review, discuss, deliberate, and take potential action, including rendering a decision regarding the initial disciplinary hearing for a police officer.”
Depending on the findings of the closed session, the group may then return to an open session to take action if necessary before adjourning for the evening.
