A former Madison school teacher accused of sexual misconduct with a Texas teenager has been convicted.
David Fawcett agreed to a plea deal yesterday that drops a second count of production of child pornography.
The 59-year-old faces a minimum of 15 years in prison when he’s sentenced in October.
Fawcett was arrested earlier this year after police in Texas warned the Madison Police Department about an older man talking to a girl under the age of 18.
Prosecutors believed he had spoken to more than a dozen underage girls.
