An elderly man is dead in Milwaukee after a crash with a bus.
It happened Sunday night near East Kilbourn Avenue and North Jackson Street when the 84-year-old was riding his bicycle.
The man collided with a bus as the vehicle was making a right turn onto Jackson.
Police noted the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
Data from UW-Madison shows this is the first bicyclist death for the year and the 23rd deadly crash of 2026 in Milwaukee.
