The Lester Public Library in Two Rivers is getting prehistoric this summer.
The library has unveiled its new Jurassic Junction dramatic play center, which features several hands on activities.
Children can become paleontologists, uncovering dinosaur bones buried beneath a pretend archaeological dig site, where taped excavation grids and dirt-colored fabric become layers of ancient earth, examining discoveries in a mobile laboratory, reconstructing skeletons, solving prehistoric mysteries, gathering around a campfire to share stories, and climbing into an expedition Jeep, where turning steering wheels and plenty of imagination carry them across prehistoric landscapes.
Jurassic Junction will be open through August 29th.
