No charges will be filed after a deadly deputy shooting in Eau Claire County in May.
The Eau Claire County District Attorney’s Office has determined that Deputy Joseph Wollum acted in reasonable self-defense.
The deputy shot and killed Kelly Whalen after a May 4th traffic crash in the Town of Union.
Authorities say Whalen was armed with a knife at the time of the incident.
