A local Kiwanis club is getting ready for one of its “highlight days” of the year.
The Manitowoc Golden K Kiwanis will host their regular weekly meeting on Tuesday, July 28th, at 9:00 a.m. to award eight scholarships to local students who recently graduated from high school and are pursuing further education.
Over the past year, the club has raised more than $10,000, enabling the group to support several outstanding local organizations, such as Gumby’s Club Fore A Cure.
