Two teenagers are recovering from serious injuries after a crash last night in rural Outagamie County.
The Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office was called to the intersection of County Road EE and Wege Road just after 5:15 p.m. on a report of a two-vehicle crash.
It was learned that two 16-year-old individuals were in a vehicle traveling east on Wege Road when they failed to yield at a stop sign, colliding with another vehicle that was traveling south on EE.
The teens were taken to a local hospital with serious injuries, while the 24-year-old man driving the other vehicle was evaluated for minor injuries.
Alcohol is not believed to have been a factor in the crash, but it is unclear what, if any, charges are being filed.
