A fire at a golf course in Brillion was extinguished quickly.
The Brillion Fire Department was called to Deer Run Golf Course on Monday (July 13th) just after 4:00 p.m. for a reported kitchen fire.
While en route, two fire crews learned it was a fire with smoke and flames visible inside a building on the course.
By the time firefighters arrived, the fire had been extinguished, and ventilation operations were done to remove any remaining smoke from the structure.
They also accessed the roof to check for any flame extension.
Once the scene was deemed safe, it was turned back over to management with no injuries to civilians or personnel.
The Brillion Fire Department thanked the Brillion Police for their assistance and credited the staff at Deer Run with their quick action in limiting the extent of the incident.
