
There are two governmental meetings scheduled for today (July 14th) in Sheboygan.
The City Plan Commission will meet inside Council Chambers at 4:00 p.m., where they will begin with a public hearing for a Conditional Use Permit submitted by a resident in the 2800 block of South 7th Street.
Then, the group will take action on the CUP before holding another public hearing regarding a moratorium on “the issuance of zoning and building permit approvals for data centers with greater than 10,000 square feet of floor area.”
Following the hearing, the Plan Commission will vote on the moratorium.
Up next will be the Sheboygan Transit Commission meeting inside the first-floor conference room at City Hall at 5:00 p.m.
The group will start with a discussion regarding the 2026-27 Community Development Block Grant cycle before receiving the Shoreline Metro Facilities Report.
The Commission will also vote on approving the Public Transportation Agency Safety Plan and discuss Shoreline Metro’s 2026-2030 Transportation Development Plan.
To close out the evening, the group will receive the director’s, parking, and transit reports.
