A West Allis police officer has been suspended as the department investigates a use-of-force incident.
The department says criminal charges were filed Friday against Anton Best for an incident that took place back at the end of January.
WISN 12 News reports the 32-year-old dropped his knee onto the neck of a man who was cooperating with officers following a car pursuit.
Best is scheduled to be in court on July 30th and faces jail time and fines if convicted.
