The City of Two Rivers is making it a little easier for residents who have to help pay for sidewalk replacement.
The city council approved a resolution allowing lot owners to request permission to pay a special assessment in yearly installments over five years, with interest.
Residents are asked to help pay for the installation and replacement of sidewalks on their blocks.
The payments for replacing or installing the sidewalk would be due in October 2027.
