The Two Rivers Police Department has a lot of exciting things planned for National Night Out.
The annual event designed to bring law enforcement and the community together is scheduled for August 4th, with the Two Rivers event slated for Walsh Field from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
On top of getting to meet the officers who keep the Cool City safe, the Department will also offer K9 and drone demonstrations at 5:15 p.m.
Then, at 6:0 p.m., the Army National Guard will land a Black Hawk helicopter and host a meet and greet with the crew.
As the event concludes, emergency vehicles will light up Walsh Field in a colorful display before everyone gathers to watch the exciting departure of the Black Hawk helicopter.
The event is free and open to everyone.
