The Two Rivers Parks and Recreation Department wants to hear from you.
The City has been selected to participate in the Recreation Economy for Rural Communities Program through the Environmental Protection Agency, which helps communities identify strategies to grow their outdoor recreation economy and revitalize their main streets.
As a part of this process, the City has announced two community workshops, scheduled for early September.
Both will be held at the Woodland Dunes Nature Center and will be led by Director of Parks and Recreation, Mike Mthis.
The September 1st session will run from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., followed by a 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. session the following day.
Mathis said of the program, “Your ideas, experience, and perspective are important…We hope you join the conversation.”
