The deadline to nominate an outstanding educator in Sheboygan County has been extended.
The Sheboygan County Chamber of Commerce has announced that they have extended the deadline to make nominations for the 2026 Workforce Development Golden Apple Education Awards.
Originally set for July 3rd, the Chamber has pushed the date back to July 30th, allowing for more nominations to be made.
Each year, the Golden Apple Awards recognize one educator and one business or organization in the community that plays a significant role in furthering the education of local students.
Those looking to make a nomination in one or both categories can learn more about each award, including criteria, eligibility, and what the awards represent, by visiting sheboygan.org.
Last year’s winners included Jaslyn Posewitz of Sheboygan South, who was recognized as Educator of the Year, and CESA 6 Youth Apprenticeship, which won the Business Education Partner of the Year Award.
