The Milwaukee Common Council wants to see masked federal immigration agents investigated.
Council members signed off on a request to Chief Jeffrey Norman to look at the use of masks by ICE agents, as well as the use of a department station parking lot.
The letter also wants to find out if Milwaukee police coordinated with ICE agents at any time and asks to look at body camera video.
The request comes after an increase in immigration enforcement activity across the city, including nearly 40 arrests over the past several weeks.
