The City of Sheboygan is inviting residents to learn more about its plans for the future.
The City will be hosting its next Comprehensive Plan open house tomorrow (July 9th) from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Paradigm Coffee & Music on North 8th Street. At the event, there will be numerous opportunities for community members to provide feedback.
These will include large-format displays of maps, plan narratives, and goals, a written comment area for general feedback, and City staff on site to answer questions and discuss the plans.
Additionally, there will also be topic-specific discussion tables with a focus on transportation, housing density, preferred housing types, and environmental priorities.
On what the Comprehensive Plan open house aims to do, the City noted, “This is your opportunity to share your thoughts and ideas about the future of our community. Your voice matters, and we want to hear from you…Let’s work together to shape the future of Sheboygan.”
