The case against one of several Manitowoc County men accused of sexual assault against children has taken a turn.
37-year-old Randy Kue had a hearing in Judge Jerylin Dietz’s courtroom recently, where his attorneys requested a competency evaluation.
Judge Dietz granted that request, suspending all further proceedings until the exam is complete.
Kue is accused of physically and sexually assaulting a woman who lived with him repeatedly between 2019 and 2025, resulting in two pregnancies.
The victim told police that there were multiple incidents where Kue would physically overpower her, and at times, he would hit her if she resisted.
Kue is facing six felony charges, including three counts of Child Abuse Intentionally Causing Harm and one count each of 1st Degree Sexual Assault Causing Great Bodily Harm, 2nd Degree Sexual Assault with Use of Force, and 3rd Degree Sexual Assault.
He is due back in court on July 29th for a competency hearing.
