A garage caught fire in Howard over the weekend, resulting in some major damage.
The Howard Fire Rescue Department was called to the 3400 block of Chatsworth Drive at 9:30 Saturday evening, where they found smoke and flames coming from an attached garage.
Crews were able to take control of the blaze and needed two additional hours to eliminate hot spots.
Two residents were treated at the scene and taken to a local hospital for smoke inhalation.
The fire caused an estimated $350,000 in damage, but the cause is not known at this time.
The Brown County Fire Investigation Task Force has taken over the investigation.
