Another person from Manitowoc has been charged in relation to a fatal overdose.
45-year-old Shelly L. Gregory was given a $10,000 cash bail yesterday (July 2nd) by Court Commissioner Jewel Scharenbroch as she faces one count of Conspiracy to Deliver Fentanyl.
Gregory has been accused of playing a part in a drug deal that resulted in the fatal overdose of someone in the Manitowoc community earlier this year.
At this time, details of the case remain somewhat limited, but it was revealed that the 45-year-old shared some sort of communications with others involved in the delivery of the harmful drugs, including Summer Sprang.
While the name of the deceased victim has been withheld, their cause of death was confirmed to be an overdose from taking both fentanyl and methamphetamine.
Additional terms of bail for Gregory include maintaining absolute sobriety, no possession of any controlled substances, no contact with the family of the deceased, and no contact with other alleged co-conspirators.
She will now be back in court on Monday (July 6th) at 1:30 p.m. for her initial appearance in Branch 4.
