Two Rivers has received some good news regarding the former Hamilton property.
PFAS soil sampling has been completed across the property, and these samples were tested and screened at a level of 2 micrograms per kilogram.
Because of these results, the city is moving forward with Thermo-Fisher Scientific to request the close of the PFAS site investigation and grant the city an LGU environmental liability exemption.
Planning for the former Hamilton property will continue through 2026 as the city redevelops concepts and asks for public opinion.
