A candidate for governor and an open democratic socialist is coming to Manitowoc this weekend.
Madison State Representative Francesca Hong will be at KC’s Kitchen and Cocktails, hosting a fundraiser for her campaign for governor on Sunday.
The restaurant on 10th Street will have a special menu including a signature smash patty, special tacos, and more.
Hong’s campaign is asking those who want to attend to pre-register.

Hong is one of nine candidates running in the Democratic primary for governor.
In a straw poll taken during the Wisconsin Dems Convention in May, she finished in second place behind Lieutenant Governor Sara Rodriguez and ahead of Madison State Senator Kelda Roys.
