The second of two men charged with kidnapping a girl in Two Rivers last year could be pleading in his case today.
The now 34-year-old Pedro Giron Perez is scheduled to return to Manitowoc County Court this morning for a plea date in Branch 2.
He’s alleged to have worked with 23-year-old Alexcer Solis Gomez to take a girl from Two Rivers out of the state.
Two Rivers Police were called to check on the girl in November last year after her family reported her missing.
A neighbor said they saw the teen get into a vehicle with California license plates. Both the men and the teen were later found in Wyoming before the two were arrested and eventually brought back to Wisconsin.
Giron Perez faces a charge of abduction as a party to a crime.
Solis Gomez was convicted and sentenced two weeks ago due to a no-contest plea on his own charge of abduction.
He will spend four years in prison, followed by 10 years on extended supervision.
