A former Plymouth department store that has been vacant for over a decade is under new ownership.
Carbliss owners Amanda and Adam Kroener have announced the purchase of the former Kmart building located at 2615 Eastern Avenue, which has been empty since its closure in 2014.
On the purchase, the Kroeners explained, “The company plans to redevelop the approximately 90,000 square foot building into its new corporate headquarters and a community destination designed to attract tourists, support local businesses, and create an exceptional workplace for its growing team.”
Redevelopment plans include a Carbliss pour house, a merchandise store, product sampling, and more.
To close, Amanda noted, “Our goal wasn’t simply to build a bigger office. We wanted to create a place where our team can love coming to work while also creating something that adds value to Plymouth.”
More information on the announcement can be found on the Carbliss Facebook page.
