A Milwaukee man is heading behind bars for the 2025 killing of another man.
Court records show Jonathan Caravello pleaded guilty in May to an amended murder charge after initially facing second-degree reckless homicide.
The 53-year-old had been accused of being involved in a deadly assault on the city’s south side when Caravello allegedly put the victim in a chokehold.
He was sentenced to eight years in prison, followed by seven years of extended supervision.
