On top of the rest of the 4th of July events taking place on Saturday, a local organization has announced another addition to the celebration.
The Manitowoc County Civil War Round Table, in coordination with Visit Manitowoc, is offering free photos with Civil War reenactors and a one of a kind hand sewn replica Civil War flag at the Inn on Maritime Bay.
The group will also give out free patriotic glow sticks to children of all ages while showcasing a replica Civil War drum, performing harmonica camp songs, and telling stories about Manitowoc County’s involvement in the Civil War.
The unique event will run from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., and guests are invited to stay in the area to enjoy the annual Festival Foods Fireworks Show at 9:30.
