Sheboygan’s Department of Public Works is alerting the public of upcoming changes regarding the holiday weekend.
With the 4th of July falling on a Saturday, the DPW notes that no changes will be made to this week’s curbside collection schedule.
However, the Residential Recycling Center at the Municipal Service Building, located at 2026 New Jersey Avenue, will be closed on Independence Day.
During the week, the recycling center’s hours remain unchanged, but those needing to dispose of items are advised to do so by no later than 6:00 p.m. on Friday (July 3rd).
After the holiday weekend, the Residential Recycling Center will resume its regular operating hours the following Monday (July 6th) at 8:00 a.m.
