Over 100 artists will be converging on Sheboygan next month for an annual arts festival.
The John Michael Kohler Arts Center’s 56th annual Midsummer Festival of the Arts will be held on July 18th and 19th in the streets of Downtown Sheboygan.
This free event invites the public to enjoy the work of a wide variety of artists with specialties ranging from painting to photography to metal work and much more.
The weekend will also feature live music performances as part of the Levitt AMP Sheboygan Music Series, free hands-on art-making activities, strolling performances, and a lineup of food trucks and beverage tents.
Community partners joining in on the festivities will include RCS Empowers, showcasing the works of local artists with disabilities, and Impressions Fine Art Gallery, a Sheboygan-based nonprofit gallery dedicated to showcasing Wisconsin artists.
The Midsummer Festival of the Arts will begin at 10:00 a.m. each day, running until 5:00 p.m. on day one and 4:00 p.m. on day two.
